The short version: CountStack has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics trackers. Your counters, folders, history, and settings live on your device. We do not sell your data. Optional backup/export files you create yourself are not uploaded to us.

Everything you create in CountStack is stored locally on your phone or tablet, including:
We do not operate a cloud account or cloud sync for that content. Uninstalling the app removes the app’s local data from the device (subject to any backup copies you made yourself).
Settings lets you export a backup file (compact gzipped JSON) or CSV/spreadsheet-style exports you choose to save. Those files are written only where you save them (for example via the system file picker). They are not automatically uploaded to CountStack servers — we do not run a CountStack backend for core counting data.
Android or your device manufacturer may include some app files in the phone’s own backup or device-transfer features, according to your system settings. That is controlled by the platform, not by a CountStack cloud service.
The Android package may declare internet permission because of the Flutter tooling/platform defaults. Core counting features do not require an online connection and do not send your counters to a CountStack server.
If you contact us by email for support, normal email metadata (your address, message content, and technical mail headers) is processed only to respond to you.
CountStack is a general productivity / tally tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Because core app data stays on your device, you control it there (edit, export, delete, or uninstall). For any personal data we hold from email support correspondence, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction by emailing jan.torkamani.dev@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised. Material changes will be reflected in the app store listing privacy policy URL.
